What Your Donation Can Do

Academy of Urban Learning:  $10.00 per paycheck provides lunch for 15 students.

ACS Community LIFT:  $10 per pacyeck provides $50 worth of food per household.

The Action Center:  Thanks to workplace giving donors, last year the Action Center was able to serve more than 28,000 clients. About 40% of them, were first-time clients who had never had to come ask for help before.
    
Alternatives Pregnancy Center:        $10.00 per paycheck provides $250.00 layette gift ("newborn baby shower in a bag").

American Council of the Blind of Colorado:  $1.00 per paycheck provides a variety of items over the course of a year such as a variety of small, adaptive aids (20/20 pen, oven mitt, signature and envelope guides, touch dots, a cane holder, a large number of playing cards, talking key chain or certain UV shield glasses, talking watch, clocks or calculators, large button phone, support canes or a detailed resource book of programs, services, vendors and tips for an individual who is experiencing vision loss).

Arc Thrift Stores:  $2.00 per paycheck provides adaptive software for visually impaired employees in our call center.

ArtReach:  $5.00 per paycheck provides one human service agency with access to the community tickets program for 1 year.

Arvada Community Food Bank:  $3.75 per paycheck provides lunch for one child for a year in the Feeding the Future Backpack program.

Aurora Community Connection Family Resource Center:  $10.00 per paycheck provides after-school tutoring for a child for 3 months.

Aurora Interchurch Task Force:  $2.00 per paycheck provides 24 persons with a full week of groceries due to in-kind and government supplies.
    
Bessie's Hope:  $5.00 per paycheck provides meterials, training, & regular structured visits for 1 youth & 1 elder to cultivate a mutually rewarding relationship.

Bienvenidos Food Bank:  $5.00 per paycheck provides $45 worth of food for families in need or $1,080 for the  year.

Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je:  $13.33 per paycheck provides a summer camp experience for one child.

CASA of Jefferson and Gilpin Counties:  $25.00 per paycheck provides a half a year of advocacy for one child abuse victim.

Center for Hearing, Speech and Language:  $5.00 per paycheck provides hearing/vision/language screenings for 6 low-income children.

cityWILD:  $5.00 per paycheck provides a healthy snack for 20 students every day for an entire month.

Colorado Drug Endangered Children:  $10.00 per paycheck provides one family access to a network of services to increase chil & family healing.

Colorado Homeless Families:  $25 provides food for a day

Colorado Parks and Recreation Association Foundation:  $10.00 per paycheck provides $240.00 to support a community garden for a community in need.

Colorado Renewable Energy Society:  $5.00 per paycheck provides registration for 12 students to attend Solar and Green Homes Tour.

Colorado Uplift:  $5.00 per paycheck provides meals and bonding for three at-risk kids.

Denver Area Youth Services:  $20.00 per paycheck provides diapers for infants in foster care placement.

Denver Indian Family Resource Center:  Workplace dollars are unrestricted and utilized for operational and administrative expenses associated with implementing our ongoing programs that support American Indian children and their families.

Denver Indian Health & Family Services:  $100.00 per year to Native Organization annual holiday food drive.

Denver Options:  $10.00 per paycheck provides 24 hours of assistance for families with children with developmental disabilities.

Denver Rescue Mission:  $5.00 per paycheck provides a warm, clean bed for a homeless man.

Denver Voice:   $5.00 per paycheck transfers to $20.00 for a Denver VOICE vendor. That amount provides one homeless person with 10 free papers, the start of their job and allows them to earn about $20.00. 

DDRC:  100% of your donation goes directly to people with developmental disabilities that are experiencing financial hardships. There are NO overhead costs for this program and every penny we receive from Workplace Giving goes into the 25th hour fund.

Douglas/Elbert Task Force:  $1.00 per paycheck provides meals for a family of four for five days.

Excelsior Youth Center:  $8.00 per paycheck provides job skills training for a transitioning young woman.

Firefly Autism:  $5.00 per paycheck provides funds for six children to go on a field trip.

Focus Points Family Resource Center:  $5.00 per paycheck enrolls one child in preschool.

Friends of Paha:  $10.00 per paycheck would send one disabled child or young adult to full-time summer day camp for one week.

Front Range Chapter Little People of America:  Many of our members have physical and medical needs, such as surgeries for ear, bone or nerve issues, so we provide financial assistance to our members so they can get help when needed. Also, our member might be in need for pefal extension, light extension, reachers, etc. We provide scholorships to help with financial supplies.

Hero Alliance:  $10.00 per paycheck provides housing counseling services for 2 persons for a month.

HIV Care Link:  $20.00 per paycheck provides moving assistance.

Inner City Health Center:  $2.00 per paycheck provides diabetic education for 2 patients.

Inter-Faith Community Services:  $5.00 per paycheck provides lock change on the home of a domestic violence victim.

Interfaith Hospitality Network:  $10.00 per paycheck provides materials for Life Skills and Parenting classes.

La Raza Youth Leadership:  $15.00 per paycheck provides 1 student registration for the conference.

Laradon Hall:  $20.00 per paycheck provides a student with a healthy, balanced meal for one week.

Legal Center:   $1.50 per paycheck provides 2 workbooks for a teacher providing services to a special education student or a parent advocating on behalf of their child.

Lost and Found, Inc.:  $15.00 per paycheck provides 24 group therapy sessions (healthy boundaries, drug/alcohol recovery).

Mercy Housing:  $10.00 per paycheck provides field trip costs and transportation for 2 youth for one year.

Metro CareRing:  $5.00 per paycheck will feed a family of four for two months.

National Sports Center for the Disabled:  $5.00 per paycheck provides one full-day winter sport lesson (skiing, snowboarding, ski biking) for a person with a disability.

Open World Learning:  $5.00 per paycheck provides recreational equipment for one after school program.

Qualistar Colorado:  $10.00 per paycheck provides child care referrals for 48 families a year.

Ralston House:  $15.00 per paycheck provides one medical exam for a child victim of sexual assault.

Rocky Mountain MS Center:  $5.00 per paycheck provides one meal for a participant at the King Adult Day Enrichment Program (KADEP)

Rocky Mountain PBS:  Every dollar donated to Rocky Mountain PBS via workplace giving campaigns goes directly into our iconic and educational on-air programming.

Roundup Fellowship:  $5.00 per paycheck provides 3 meals for 2 people per day.

Sacred Heart House:  $30.00 per paycheck provides emergency housing, food, clothing, transportation and case management for a single woman or mother for one week.

SafeHouse Denver:  $5.00 per paycheck provides two days of safe shelter to one woman or child who would otherwise be homeless.

Third Way Center:   $5.00 per paycheck provides education and school supplies so 3 at-risk teenagers can graduate from high school.

Wapiyapi:  $10.00 per paycheck provides therapeutic art supplies for 10 children with cancer.

WINGS Foundation:  $1.00 per paycheck provides a Survivor's Guide to Healing handbook for a group member.

You Can Begin Again:  $5.00 per paycheck helps provide housing; renters insurance; trainings; incentives and transportation to six young women.
