They see an average of 50 families per day, for a total of 39, 302 individuals in 2006. The value of food distributed by Arvada Community Food Bank in 2006 was $509, 319. The Arvada Community Food Bank distributed 8,160 food baskets in 2006. At Bayaud Industries, workplace contributions annually help over 450 people with disabilities or homeless find training for employment within the community. Donations allow DIFRC to assist families address situations of serious disruption, such as mental illness, substance abuse, homelessness or domestic violence, all which may lead to child neglect and abuse. Donations help families through case management and meet the goals of their treatment plans. Donations to Dominican Sisters Home Health Agency assist with an annual per patient cost of $3,172, which is significantly less than the $55,000 per year national average! At Mountain Resource Center, any denomination donation provides emergency financial assistance for families affected by crisis – food, clothing, shelter, utilities and pharmacy. Contributions to Roundup Fellowship will be used to supplement operations, as it relates to summer and winter recreational needs and camping opportunities for residents. |
